The next meeting to discuss and debate the above is scheduled to take place at 6.30-7:30pm on Monday 11th June 2012 at The Hub Coventry University Student Union in Jordan Well. Stop and Search has often been an emotive subject which is why this consultation process is vital to seek as many people’s opinions and thoughts as possible thereby ensuring that any outcomes are productive and useful.

The first meeting took place on Monday 5th March in the Gavin Carlton Conference Room at Coventry Central. It was decided to hold regular meetings to discuss and debate the Stop and Search policy. The next forum takes place 6.30pm Monday 2nd April at the same venue. Access to this location is via St John’s Street.
The Groundwork programme offers all Coventry residents the opportunity to have an energy assessor visit their home and advise them on ways to reduce the amount of money they spend on their fuel bills. The assessor will look at the building and appliances etc. as well as discussing the behavioural habits of the residents. The visit will also involve an elidability assessment to identify whether or not the resident is elidgable for the Warm Homes Discount rebate on their electricity bills this win
Grace Academy in Coventry on Sunday 27th November and the other at Warwickshire Exhibition Centre in Leamington Spa on Sunday 11th December. Both events are 6km and are £10 to register which includes a free Santa Suit and medal upon completion! There is also a children’s 100m dash which is free for children to enter and they are encouraged to come in their favourite festive outfit!
