Refugee Week

Refugee Week 16-23rd June 2013 is a nationwide celebration of new communities in the UK and their contribution to British life. CRMC is heavily involved in organising Coventry’s contribution to the celebrations – these are just some of the events our staff and volunteers are planning for this year’s event. CRMC Open Day, Tuesday 18th June, 1-4pm – Come along and find out all about the work we do at the Centre, meet staff and volunteers and discover what help and services our specialist units can offer. The event will take place at the Centre’s base at 15 Bishop Street, Coventry, CV1 1HU, and all are welcome. Party in the Park, Sat June 22nd, 12-6pm held in Primrose Hill Park in Hillfields, is an event to mark the culmination of Refugee Week, allowing refugee and migrant communities and the host communities in Coventry to come together and enjoy and participate in a gala-style event, 12 noon till 6.00 p.m. It’s intended to be a beautiful and vibrant event which will attract and engage all kinds of people of all ages and from every community-an event that will allow the people of Coventry to come together and celebrate their city.
