About us

The building was built around 1939, initially used as an industrial hostel and later for housing war workers.

In 1947 the Centre provided schooling until the opening of Howes and Manor Park school's in the 1950's.

1990 - Survived potential closure.
2004 - New Car Park built.
2006 - Half of the centre refurbished.
2008 - Became a Childrens Centre.
